WELCOME TO FRYERHQ
Kia ora, I'm Marie Fryer.
I've spent over 20 years working in B2B growth roles, starting in market research and moving through marketing, sales, strategy and leadership, with plenty of experience on both sides of the table, selling the products and buying them.

After working in businesses big and small, in 2025 I decided to go out on my own, starting FryerHQ with a simple goal: to help good businesses grow. (If you care about your customers, chances are you're a good business.)

Nowadays that means partnering with business owners who want marketing support from someone they can trust, without the cost or complexity of a full-time hire. Sometimes that's a single piece of content or a case study, other times a full brand strategy, product launch, or research programme.

Keeping me company at FryerHQ is Charlie the labrador. He features more than is probably professional

MY PHILOSOPHY
It always starts with the customer.
I don't believe marketing should come across as a confusing dark art. And it certainly shouldn't be about chasing likes, engagement, or the latest shiny thing either. Good marketing is a craft, built on understanding human behaviour, psychology, and well-tested foundations, while not being afraid to try something new too.

But most of all, I believe that before you spend a penny on marketing, you need to know three things. Who your customers really are. What you stand for. And why someone should choose you over anyone else. Know this before you jump into action, and you'll see dramatically stronger results.

Let's connect.
If you need help with marketing your business, telling your story, or figuring out where to take your business next, I'd love to hear from you.
